Heavy-Duty Big Reel Spool Tape Rewinding Machine

Introduction:

Function of this spooling machine is to traverse wind tapes from pancake pad rolls to spool forms. It’s mainly used for continuous traverse winding and step traverse winding as per customers’ process requests. It is widely applied in cable materials industries and packing tape/label industries, and workable for various materials such as PET, BOPP, mica tape, kraft paper, non-woven fabric, aluminium mylar tape, aluminium foil, copper tape, water blocking tape and etc. The straight-line tape feeding and servo-driven traverse mechanism ensure stable and efficient winding performance.

Features:

1. The tape runs in one straight line from unwinding to rewinding, with no twist in the feeding routine.
2. Unwinding is driven by magnetic brake or pneumatic brake with tapering tension control.
3. A servo motor drives a ball bearing screw rod to make the traverse moving of the unwinding part to form the spool.
4. The winding shaft is driven by an AC motor; if customers prefer, a servo motor can be used instead.
5. A pneumatic cylinder supports the pressure roller beam to ensure proper pressure on the spool.
6. The spool winding parameters are set from the HMI touch screen, while start/stop and speed +/- are operated with physical switches for easy operation.
